茶生活由原是废品收购站的老建筑改造而成。在建筑10余米挑高的结构之下，重构的现代合院与斑驳的墙壁相得益彰。合院的每个单元体块功能造型皆不一，轻重转换收放自如。而为了保护老建筑，所有新建造的单元都和旧墙保持着近一米的距离。原有的坡屋顶结构也得到完好的保留，成为一种延续和表达记忆和情感的载体。

The Tea Life Hall was transformed an old building that was originally a waste collection station. Under the structure of more than 10m of building height, the reconstructed modern courtyard complements with the mottled walls. Each unit of the courtyard has different functional shapes,which can be freely converted. However, to protect the old building, all the newly built units keep the distance of about 1m from the old walls. The original sloping roof structure has also been preserved intact, becoming a carrier a carrier for continuation and expression of memory and emotion.
